Spreading the word about a butter innovation

Lurpak Cook’s Range wasn’t just a new product launch, it was the biggest revolution in the Butter, Spreads and Margarine category for 20 years. A premium product range aimed at aspiring foodies wanting to take their taste buds to the next level.
The Staff Room were solely responsible for both the recruitment and management of the 60-day event tour, initially kicking off in Waterloo Station with a media-first live feed to the UK’s largest indoor screen. We delivered in-depth working sessions with our chefs – educating them on the product range and working together to develop menu selections.

Working alongside the chefs was a team of brand ambassadors – all knowledgeable, aspiring foodies with a genuine passion for cooking. These brand ambassadors educated hungry commuters with delicious shortbread, all dished out with money-off coupons.
Following Waterloo, the experience went nationwide, visiting 37 supermarkets, 4 train stations, the BBC Good Food Show and Taste of London. Our staff served up 30,000 fresh food samples and over 190,000 shortbread and leaflets. Prompting a 28% redemption rate.
