Helping pollen sufferers get through the day

Kleenex asked us to put together a sampling team for their balsam tissues. They specifically wanted to target hay fever sufferers in London and the South East on days with a high pollen count.

We wanted hay fever sufferers to feel pleased to see our response team, so we needed staff that were going to be sympathetic towards them. Therefore we selected a team who all suffered with hay fever themselves. We sent each of them a box of Kleenex balsam tissues before they went out on the road. With the chance to use the tissues, before, and relieve their own symptoms, our team became ambassadors for Kleenex tissues and gave consumers genuine recommendations.
This added value for Kleenex, as potential customers saw the value in the product without feeling the pressure of a sale. Over 200,000 tissues and recommendations were given out in total.
